Mission Statement

The mission of HOSTS is to combine community volunteers and at risk students in a positive and supportive atmosphere where learning is accelerated and lasting friendships are developed.

Description

HOSTS (Help One Student To Succeed) uses community volunteers in the designated HOSTS schools to help students become better readers. Volunteers are matched with students and spend one hour one day a week working on reading skills in the HOSTS classrooms.
