MISSION STATEMENT To express the love of Christ by networking together to serve those in the WISD who are in need of emergency assistance and restoration: • by developing a sense of ownership by the Waller Christian Community • by attracting caring and qualified staff and volunteers who are committed to the values and mission of W.A.R.M. • by providing emergency assistance that has the goal of restoration. The Titanic was built by professionals... the Ark was built by Volunteers. Give your time and talent to transform the lives of families in need. The WARM staff relies heavily on our community volunteers to effectively achieve our mission. We have volunteering opportunities in the Thrift Store, Donation Drop Off, Food Pantry and more.

Description

WARM is a thrift store and a food pantry that serves the community with love and respect.
Pantry Volunteers needed tuesday - thursday 10am to 3 pm-

Organize, sort and stock donated food items.

Including loading and unloading freezers, refrigerators and shelves.

Fill grocery bags with food to take out to client cars.

Maintain order and cleanliness of the pantry.

Skills*

Great customer service,communication skills and personal demeanor.

Bi-lingual a plus.

The ability to uphold our standards of client confidentiality.

The ability to stand,walk ,bend and lift up to 30 pounds.
Resale Shop Volunteer :

Duties *

Restock , Tidy and display merchandise in an orderly and appealing way.

Assist employees with daily checklist(s).

Provide professional and courteous customer serviced by answering questions as needed.

Recover misplaced merchandise from areas of the floor and return to proper area .

Dust and sweep store as needed.
