U CREATE YOUTH WORKSHOP INC

Description

Our vision is to provide a space for young people that encourages constructive social engagement, inspires individual growth, and helps participants drive p ositive progress in their community.

Through weekend and summer programs, the community's youth have opportunities to learn and explore digital arts and related artforms. A variety of educational workshops will highlight artistic skills, as well as insight on the business facet. Youth will have access to art and music software at computer stations to learn, use, and create.

Established in 2014 with the intention of filling a critical need in the community, we have held many workshops in Photography, Adobe Photoshop, Graphic Design, Dj'ing, Garage Band, Music Production, Story-Boarding for Film, Documentary Film-making, PSA Film-making, Study of Race in Film, Screen Printing, Illustration, and Performance Poetry. All workshops are taught by volunteer instructors who have professions in the subject matter at hand.
