AgeWell Services hosts the Senior Medical Transportation Program (formerly Red Cross Senior Transportation). AgeWell Services transports hundreds of seniors each week to their medical appointments in Muskegon County. We rely on an army of volunteers to safely transport our seniors to medical appointments daily between 8:00 a.m. & 12:00 p.m. and 12:00 p.m. & 4:00 p.m. No experience necessary and it is only a few hours of your time! Please visit https://vhub.at/HU7DZA to fill out an application online. If you are unable to fill out the application online, please call me at 231-559-0476 to complete the application over the phone. Once the application is completed, I will complete the required background checks. I will also need a driver's license number for anyone that will be driving for us. After these are completed, we will get you scheduled for a ride-along to see how the Senior Transportation Program team works.

We need someone to help facilitate our monthly Senior Center Activities event. Activities include things like crafts, BINGO, trivia, etc. All materials and instructions provided. Socialize and have a great time with each activity. Helping our community thrive is one of the many benefits of volunteering with AgeWell Services. We have routes throughout Ottawa County Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays where we deliver a hot, nutritious meal to homebound seniors. For many of these people, the interaction with the volunteer is the only contact thay may have each day. The demand is growing, so more drivers are needed. If you enjoy driving and would like to bring a smile to someone's face, along with their lunch, consider becoming a volunteer driver for the Meals on Wheels program. No experience necessary! AgeWell Services offers mileage reimbursement.

Our Wellness Office at Tanglewood Park needs someone to help with office work. Duties may include: Answering phones, helping check people in for their classes, working within ServTracker (our participant database) to update information and accept sales for classes and the like, giving tours of the facility, signing people up for our Discount Dining Program, and other various duties discussed with your supervisor.
