The mission of the Flatirons Food Film Festival is to celebrate food culture and community by hosting a series of films and events intended to entertain, educate, and inspire.
The Flatirons Food Film Festival (Sept. 27-Oct. 1, www.flatironsfoodfilmfest.org) is an extended weekend festival dedicated to an exploration of food through film. We generally screen 6-9 feature-length films and even more short films. An expert speaker introduces each feature. Sometimes, a panel discussion or Q&A follows the films. We also hold culinary events related to the films, both at the theater and other locations.
We are fortunate that prominent speakers, such as Sandor Katz, Jonathan Gold, and Andy Ricker, have participated in the festival.
