CPI helps instill hope and restore health to those suffering from substance use disorders. Since 1968, Community Programs, Inc. ("CPI") has strengthened Michigan communities by providing therapeutic services for individuals diagnosed with disorders involving alcohol and drugs, including mental health and related behavioral problems. CPI Provides a variety of programs to meet individual treatment needs and offer sustained help. CPI applies a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) model in a caring, therapeutic setting to identify thoughts and behaviors that reinforce substance use disorders and how to overcome them. Our organization provides substance abuse treatment for paroles and probationers that are sent by the Michigan Department of Corrections. We are a residential treatment facility and provide services to both men and women. We house up to 200 clients including both populations. Our clients are here from 30 to 120 days. Along with our counseling services we are helping our clients to develop new coping strategies and hobbies before they return to the community. We are trying to provide our clients with opportunities to engage in activities that they have never tried or have stopped engaging in due to their addiction.
