Mission Statement
The Young Women’s Stress Study is a research study run by Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health. The study is intended to provide a better understanding of how stress and mental health impact the overall health and well-being of young women. With this understanding, we hope to improve the overall health of young women in Atlanta.
Description
This is a two-year long study and participants will be asked to complete in-person surveys once a year and short, monthly surveys online. During the first in-person visit, biological samples will be collected. These samples include bloodspot and hair. We will also measure other aspects of your physical health, such as height, weight and blood pressure.
Participants will be paid for each in-person visit and each at-home survey completed. Over the course of the project, you could receive up to $260.
