Lawrence Giving Center

Join us in our Lawrence Giving Center to help provide essentials for babies and children in need! Adult volunteers (18 or over) are needed to help sort donated clothing and baby equipment, as well as to create "bundles of kindness" (a week's worth of clothing) for children in need. All donations are distributed locally by our network of social service partners. Email volunteer@communitygivingtree.org for more information. There is no set schedule or minimum requirement for volunteers, however there is a sign up process. New volunteers are oriented by a staff member on their first service day. We have an after-school and summer program for teens age 13 - 18. Please let us know if you are a Middle or High School student or access the sign-up for teens on our website. www.communitygivingtree.org When: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings.

Community Giving Tree's mission is to help local low-income families raise healthy children by providing recycled clothing, baby equipment, and other basic necessities.

Description

Community Giving Tree collects gently used clothing and baby equipment from local families. Volunteers help sort and organize donations, and work with social service partners to distribute these essentials to local families in need. We have locations in Boxford, MA and Lawrence, MA.

Boxford -- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9:00am-2:00pm
Lawrence - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9:00am - 1:00pm
