Your assistance with directions, information and wheelchairs will make their day. This is a great location for those who love being on their feet and the great outdoors. You'll greet guests as they arrive on campus and get them to the right building for their needs. 3-4 hours shifts available throughout the week from 8am-4pm. We are currently recruiting both adult and junior volunteers for our NEW San Marcos Hospital opening August 2023! As a volunteer you will have opportunities to support our members and staff by offering information, directions, wayfinding and wheelchair assistance. You will also assist with patient deliveries and patient discharges. As you gain experience you can move into our nursing units, emergency department or urgent care where your volunteer service will add an extra layer of care and compassion to the patient experience. PET THERAPY TEAMS: Are you part of an amazing Pet Therapy team?? Kaiser Permanente would love to have you be part of our amazing team of volunteers. Our pet teams provide love and support to our inpatient population and staff, as well as patients and staff at many of our out-patient clinics all over San Diego County. Think your pup has what it takes?? Love on a Leash and Alliance Pet Therapy and Independent Dog Therapy are a few local organizations that can certify your pet.
