Music Healing Volunteer Program - Central and North County

Flexible Schedule | San Diego, CA 92123

We are recruiting skilled musicians to join our Kaiser Permanente Volunteer Team. We have openings at our Central and North County Hospitals. Because our musicians will be playing for patients who are in-patient or visitors entering our lobby, we are specifically seeking those who can play calming, subdued and quiet music. Depending on your instrument, personal preference, and logistical considerations, you may be performing in either patient rooms or our lobby and waiting areas. Please not that musicians are required to provide their own instrument and any carrying or protective cases. Roles include: Member Experience Volunteer: Assist with patient deliveries and discharges. Nursing Units & Emergency Department: Bring care and compassion to our patients during their stay. Surgery Waiting: Keep families up to date as their loved ones are in surgery. Pet Therapy: Are you a certified pet therapy team? Join us!
