Mission Statement

Marin Court Appointed Special Advocates (Marin CASA) speaks for abused, neglected and abandoned children in the Juvenile Dependency, Delinquency and Probate process. Through the uses of highly trained volunteers, the Marin CASA Program strives to provide every child who needs an advocate a voice in the court process.

Description

The Marin CASA program recruits, screens, trains and supervises CASA volunteers.

CASA Volunteers advocate for children (ages 0-21 years) who have been victims of abuse, neglect, or abandonment and are dependents of the Marin Juvenile Court. CASA volunteers are sworn officers of the court, appointed by a judge to investigate and report on the best interests of children.

We are holding a new volunteer training scheduled for July 10th through July 31st! Please contact us to learn how you can become a CASA and participate in our upcoming training.
