Mission Statement
The Mexican Cultural Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which works in partnership with art and cultural institutions to promote and maintain the richness of Mexican culture in Colorado. The Center is dedicated to increasing awareness of Mexico’s splendid traditions of travel, cuisine, art, music and handcrafts among the audiences of the United States.
Description
The The Mexican Cultural Center (MCC) provides programs that are social investments to bring together the diverse populations of Colorado to establish a deeper relationship with Mexico and other ethnic peoples and cultures. MCC’s 25 year history of providing educational programs impact educational and social based on the increasing population boom among Latinos in Colorado.
In the last twenty five years, the Mexican Cultural Center has developed a variety of cultural and educational programs which are designed to increase awareness and underscore the importance of Mexican culture in the U.S. It is our ultimate goal to convey the richness of Mexican culture and its positive impact to our communities. Today we have evolved our mission and values; The Mexican Cultural Center serves as a means to promote Mexico’s culture and its people through travel, cuisine, art, music, handcrafts, cultural events and education.
