iCan Shine provides quality learning opportunities in recreational activities for individuals with disabilities. By creating an environment where each person is empowered to maximize their individual abilities, everyone can shine!

Description

We are looking for volunteers for iCan Bike KC Camp in Overland Park on June 5th-9th. This is a camp where children and young adults with special needs can learn to ride a bike for the first time! Please visit icanshine.org to view some amazing videos and learn more about this program. Volunteers will help spot the rider throughout the week in 1 of 5 sessions (less than 2 hours per day) at the same session every day. They will be able to bond with the same child and watch their progress! This is a perfect summer opportunity for service hours for high school and college age students (volunteers must be 16).
