Your life changing sponsorship provides a senior with the option of having a nutritious monthly grocery delivery brought directly to their home or a gift card to the grocery store of their choice. Seniors can also come to the HSP center to pick up fresh produce, non-perishables, meat, bread, hygiene products, toilet paper, paper towels and facial tissue. Full Sponsorship = $70/month, $800/year Co-Sponsorship = $35/month, $400/year

We rely on generous people within our community to donate goods for those being served through our programs. Below is information about these most needed items and ideas on how to help us meet the growing demand of the services we provide at HSP. Hygiene Products Every week we distribute hygiene products to our seniors and families. We are in need of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, lotion, toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, and dental floss. Paper Products Collect toilet paper, tissues and paper towels for senior citizens and families in need. These are important essentials that are difficult for those living in poverty to afford. Non Perishable Food Every week seniors, children and families enrolled in our programs come to our center for food. With the high cost of living and food prices it is very difficult for hard working families and seniors living on limited incomes to buy enough to eat. We are always in need of non-perishable food and are happy to provide you with a list of items that we are most in need of. Please visit our website for more information and/or printable brochures

We need weekly as well as "on-call"/ substitute drivers. Drivers pick up donations of food, toys, school supplies and other items to support serving seniors and families facing food insecurity in DuPage and Kane Counties. We also deliver birthday boxes and other items to children through schools and other community partners. Must be able to lift 20 lbs. boxes. Pick-ups and deliveries take place during our operation hours - Monday- Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Most take 1.5-3 hours and use our cargo van. This opportunity is NOT available for court appointed service hours.
