Mission Statement

MISSION STATEMENT: Kindness360 is a 501(c)(3) public benefit corporation founded on the enduring principle of generosity and caring; we are committed to enlisting humanity's help in improving the quality of life of the poor, the needy, the blind and visually-impaired foremost, the disenfranchised, the homeless, and the less fortunate; dedicated to defending civility, educating citizens in kindness, and empowering little acts of kindness in our communities; above all, genuinely devoted to others by mobilizing the power of volunteers, advocates, partners, and the generosity of donors. While this mission is not our only mission, it is one of our most cherished time-honored humanitarian missions.

Description

Kindness360 is engaged to provide high-quality, low-cost (and free) braille educational materials to blind and visually-impaired students in grades pre-k through 12. As a part of our braille mission, we are also engaged in a mission to provide homeless military veterans and citizens with temporary and long-term shelter while re-training displaced clients to produce braille as another means of obtaining a living wage. Throughout the year we are encouraging compassion and kindness through public education to raise a kindness awareness, by raising support to fund random acts of kindness in local communities, by educating and empowering citizens to help others, and by encouraging civility and caring toward others.
