Mission Statement

The Friends of the Mount Laurel Library is a nonprofit that relies heavily on volunteers. The purpose of this organization shall be to maintain an association of individuals interested in fostering advocacy for The Library: in focusing public attention on library services, facilities and needs; and in raising funds for The Library beyond the scope of township funding.

Description

The Board meets on the second Monday of the month from September until June at 7 PM in the Mount Laurel Library. In the past the funds that we have raised have purchased a 3D printer for the public's use, furniture for a teen section, Museum Passes that can be borrowed by library members, chairs for patrons that attend the Second Sunday Concert Series and computers for the children section.
We are currently looking for additional Board members to help us accomplish our goals. We are looking for volunteers to assist with sorting donated books for our quarterly book sales, someone that can help us update our web page, and a treasurer. Any time that you can give us will be greatly appreciated.
