Here's a sample of our volunteer opportunities:VIEW AS
The primary mission of the corporation will be to provide community integration, job placement, education, habilitation, and other services to those with developmental disabilities and to other children and adults at risk. The activities of the organization will be broad in scope and specific in application, so that the highest level of services will be provided to the greatest number of persons. The organization will emphasize responsive and innovative approaches to the delivery of services that will increase the quality of life to people at risk.
Pearl Buck Center is working for the benefit of individuals with disabilities, their children and the larger community we share. Many in our community are born with developmental disabilities such as mental retardation, epilepsy, cerebral palsy and autism; others are born to parents with these conditions. All of these individuals have the ability - some more, some less - to function in and contribute to society.
