Description

Originally founded in 1965 through the collaborative efforts of the League of United Latin American Citizens, (LULAC), the American G.I. Forum and the U.S. Department of Navy as a job bank to assist Hispanic veterans, SER-Jobs for Progress, Inc. has since grown into a national organization with affiliates throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico. SERJobs, located in the Houston East End, is a premier affiliate serving more than 4,000 people per year by assisting with their workforce needs and providing financial education services.

SERJobs impacts communities and assists individuals to transform their lives through career coaching, occupational training, job placement, financial education and many other wrap around services!

We target the unique workforce needs of low-income Youth, Adults, Senior Citizens, Ex-Offenders, Veterans, unemployed/underemployed individuals throughout the Texas Gulf Coast region.
