California Trout's mission is to protect and restore wild trout and steelhead and their waters throughout California.

Description

California Trout was formed by a small group of anglers in 1971 who were alarmed by the rapid decline of the state's coldwater fisheries. Since that time, CalTrout has been involved in several conservation activities including trout and steelhead recovery, public trust protection, and grazing and hydropower reform.
