Description
The Autism Center at Texas Children's Hospital focuses on the care of children who have autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or who are suspected of having autism spectrum disorder. The center provides diagnostic services for ASD and related conditions, as well as recommendations for treatment and resources to help families.
The Meyer Center for Developmental Pediatrics has provided medically directed diagnostic services for infants, children and adolescents spanning the full spectrum of developmental-behavioral pediatrics - from intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and cerebral palsy to learning disabilities, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and developmental coordination disorders - including services for those at risk due to prematurity or other neonatal complications, birth defects, neurologic disorders, genetic syndromes, or psychosocial circumstances.
