The Sonshine Broadcastings Academy, Inc. is a nonprofit organization in Augusta, GA., whose mission is to provide youth with opportunities to use media technology such as audio engineering, radio/television broadcasting, critical-thinking and public-speaking skills to tell their stories and become skilled producers of media. By working in collaboration with WKZK 103.7FM and WAAU-TV 23.1, the Sonshine Broadcastings Academy, Inc. has sought to use media as a tool to give youth a larger audience for the issues that matter to them.
