Description
The Palacios Library is a rural non-profit institution that serves the local population of Palacios, Texas consisting of 4,655 people. The library was started by a group of twenty women in 1910. Over the last 100 years, it has withstood hurricanes, the rise and fall of the local business and populations, and it continues to expand its services today. Along with books, DVDs, and audiobooks, we offer computer classes, programs for children and adults, and even copying and faxes services to assist local residents. We seek to provide our citizens with opportunities to improve their lives through education, access to computers and research databases, and assistance to improve their lives and circumstances.
