Mission Statement

In partnership with the State of Florida and local communities, through public education and cooperation, it is the mission of the Sea Turtle Trackers, Inc. to assure a suitable habitat for sea turtles, people, and the ecosystem of the islands and their surrounding waters.

Description

Sea Turtle Trackers, Inc. is a tiny 501(c)(3) nonprofit org in St. Pete Beach, Pinellas County, FL. As the FL Marine Turtle Permit Holder for St. Pete Beach and Shell Key since 1979, Bruno Falkenstein has been dedicated to protecting sea turtles. We are a 100% volunteer team and we are the only sea turtle nesting group in the County that does not accept payment for our services. We rely on donations to fund our work with Turtle Patrol, Nest Monitoring, Stranding (Rescue/Salvage), Education & Community Outreach.
