Mission Statement

The Wichita Falls Public Library will act as a public information center for all citizens of Wichita Falls.To the extent that funding is available, acquisition and organization of quality and relevant print and non­print materials and services, either from our collections or through other resources, will address educational, informational, recreational, and cultural needs.

Description

The Wichita Falls Public Library building is located in downtown Wichita Falls and will celebrate its 100th birthday in 2018. The current library building is a 1998 renovation of the City's Activity Center, and was formerly known as the Kemp Public Library when housed in what is now the Kemp Center for the Arts. The library is owned and governed by the City of Wichita Falls.
