Description

Harlem Wellness Center is an innovative health and wellness resource serving the Harlem community. We provide neighborhood based holistic health and wellness programming, that is culturally relevant, and improves the quality and longevity of life for populations at highest health risk. We will advance the health movement in Harlem through awareness, multi-faceted holistic programming and community. HWC addresses health disparity through multiple holistic entry points that include group exercise, nutrition, mindfulness, bodywork, workshops, retreats, personal development and community building through yoga, group exercise, mindfulness and meditation, body work and healthy eating education. We aim to provide an affordable dynamic hub and sanctuary in Harlem as well as taking our programming directly to most vulnerable communities through outreach in public schools, shelters, public housing, and through partnerships with community based organizations.
