Mission Statement

GIUC’s mission is to raise the standard of living for low income and impoverished communities and build sustainable progress by offering the following supports (including but not limited to): donating medical supplies to hospitals, medical centers, and individuals; granting access to medical services by sponsoring free health fairs; awarding scholarships to advance the higher education of students; and providing social services and facilities to enable youth and adults to gain job readiness skills and seek gainful employment to ultimately reduce poverty and strengthen economic stability of families.

Description

The Grenada International Uplift Corporation (GIUC), founded over 27 years ago, is dedicated to assisting Grenadian communities in need as well as other communities regardless of national origin. This is consistent with our vision which is " To Promote the Welfare and Well-being of People Everywhere." GIUC is a fully registered IRS 501 (c) (3) Non-Profit organization.

GIUC takes great pride in the contributions that we have made over the years such as: donations to the St. George’s General Hospital renovation project; scholarships that help finance the tuition, books, and supplies for students at institutions of higher learning such as the Southern Caribbean University; distribution of supplies and clothing to the Belair home for children in Grenada; funding to the Charles Memorial Home, located in Victoria, St. Marks to improve the quality of the long-term care for their senior citizens;
