Description

Boston-New York AIDS Ride 6 presented by Tanqueray raises money to support the AIDS/HIV services and research of Fenway Community Health Center. Our mission is to increase the awareness and resources of people living with AIDS/HIV through the challenging experience of a 3-day bicycle trip from Boston to New York. Participants fundraise $1,700 in order to ride. The Ride takes place September 15-17, 2000. Volunteers are needed on an on-going basis to assist with office tasks and outreach. Additionally, hundreds of volunteers are needed Sept. 14-15 for registration and Opening Ceremonies, with a minimal commitment prior to those days. Boston-New York AIDS Ride has raised millions of dollars in the fight against AIDS in the past 5 years. We are now producing our 6th ride. Other Rides take place in various locations across the country.
