Explore issues affecting "Generation Iranian-American" with different perspectives, while promoting unity through dialogue and tolerance.

Description

Iranican is an all volunteer Iranian American cultural multi-media organization. This 501(c)3 non-profit's name is a derivative of the two words "Iranian" and "American". Iranican was founded by students and college graduates in 2005. Since then, it has produced "Sedayeh Iranican" talk show on Radio Javan, the Census PSA video with Maz Jobrani, "Iranican Reports" videos of cultural events and s ince 2015 Iranican has led the Nowruz at San Francisco City Hall organization. In September of 2015, Iranican launched their first multicultural arts, music, dance, and emotional intelligence festival, NeekOn, held in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park.
