Mission Statement

We strive to strengthen and empower the social and economic fabric of the Ideal Neighborhood through partnerships with its residents, associations, local institutions and other public, private and nonprofit organizations to provide wholesome development of affordable housing, economic development and community services. Our Keeping It Off The Streets Program provides a safe haven for young people in the 75215 zip code from ages 4-14 that includes educational and enrichment activities. During the summer months, we offer a comprehensive summer camp for an incredible experience.

Description

T.R. Hoover Community Development Center serves a small low income area located a few miles from downtown Dallas. We are committed to enriching this neighborhood and its families through a variety of outreach programs. With the help of several community sponsors and volunteers, we are actively providing a safer, enriched, and more connected environment for these residents.
