Mission Statement

Preserving the Past to Enlighten the Future

Description

Still an active aid to navigation, the Pensacola Lighthouse has kept watch over Pensacola Bay since New Year's Day of 1859. Today, it also serves as a historic site and museum for visitors for all over the world.

As we are open to the public 7 days a week, we are always on the lookout for dedicated volunteers to help us keep the light shining! Our volunteers work as museum docents, tour guides, groundskeepers, and much more - all while taking in the best view on the Gulf Coast.

If you're interested, please contact us at (850)-393-1561, or at volunteers@pensacolalighthouse.org.
