Join us in bringing comfort & peace to those facing end of life! Become a friendly visitor to a hospice companion to patients in Northern Colorado, and make their days a little brighter :) Play games, do crafts, watch movies, or just lend an ear as they share stories from their life! Volunteers can provide music therapy, pet therapy, light housecleaning, companionship, and many other options to help serve our hospice community. We will match you with a companion based on common interests, location, etc. upon completion of orientation, a background check, drug screen, and TB test. We serve individuals at various care communities or in their homes throughout the Northern Colorado area, so you can be matched with someone near you. Become Administrative Support Volunteer for Hospice by making Phone Calls

Bristol Hospice is looking for administrative volunteers to help out making Care Call phone calls weekly. Calls can be done by working around your schedule. Our office is located in the area of Dacono (Frederick) at I25 & Hwy 52. Our Care Call Volunteers assist by calling the families of our home patients to offer support, information, refills, etc. We are welcoming any skill level and are flexible on your time commitment, although please note the office is open M-F 8:30am-5pm. Visit a Fellow Veteran in Hospice in the Loveland/Fort Collins/Berthoud area

Bristol Hospice is seeking Veterans to provide companionship to fellow veterans on Hospice care. Veteran volunteers can relate to the stories told, share their own experiences, and can empathize with our veteran patients in a unique way that civilians cannot. Please consider spending some quality time with a fellow veteran. Our patients are located throughout the Front Range area at various care facilities or in their homes, so you can be matched with a patient in a location near you. Meanwhile, our Volunteer Coordinator provides excellent training and supervision and is always available to support you and answer any questions. These veterans have served our Country and it's time we serve them. Please consider being a companion for them during their time of need.

Administrative Volunteer at Bristol Hospice

Bristol Hospice is looking for administrative volunteers to help out in the office. We will work around your schedule. Our office is located in the area of Dacono, Erie, Fredrick, Firestone at I25 & Hwy 52. Admin volunteers help various personnel & departments with simple projects that range from sending birthday cards and correspondence to patients, creating memory boards, flower arranging, compiling binders/packets/mailings, scanning, filing, putting up supplies and occasional work on the computer. We are welcoming any skill level and are flexible on your time commitment, although please note the office is open M-F 8:30am-5pm. Companionship and music can join seamlessly with other healing efforts to address emotional, cognitive, physical and social needs of hospice patients. We collaborate to enhance our patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Our service area includes the Denver metro area, from Castle Rock to Longmont. We visit our patients in their homes, assisted living, or skilled nursing facilities.
