Mission Statement

Heal Our Troops America (HOTA) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation dedicated to helping Veterans recover from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) by providing Service Dogs trained specifically for PTSD. We also provide a Targeted Case Management (TCM) approach to show quantifiable results through the use of DSM-5 assessments which will further document PTSD Service Dogs as an extremely effective coping mechanism for disabled veterans suffering from PTSD. We seek volunteers to work with our service dogs in Newport Beach in various capacities.

Description

Heal Our Troops America is a 501c3 nonprofit corporation dedicated to helping Veterans recover from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) through the use of Complementary Alternative Medicine (CAM). We provide Hypnotherapy, Group Support/Meditation/Piscatorial Therapy, Service Dogs, and Surfing Therapy in a Targeted Case Management approach to provide quantifiable results through the use of DSM assessments, with a prospective sampling of a minimum of 50 disabled participants. We are the only nonprofit encompassing numerous aspects of CAM that is able to provide measurable results which will document CAM as proven effective in the recovery for disabled veterans suffering from PTSD.
