Education on how to recognize the warning signs of heart attack and stroke, what the individual risk factors are, how to mitigate those risk factors and most important what you can do in the fight against cardiovascular disease. Together we can battle the No. 1 and No. 3 killers in the nation: heart disease and stroke.
We, at the American Heart Association, understand that in providing volunteers with life changing, life saving information, coronary heart disease, stroke and risk can be reduced by 25% by the year 2010! We are actively seeking individuals who want to join us in our fight to save and improve lives!
