Here's a sample of our volunteer opportunities:VIEW AS
Sew For Hope exists to enhance the lives of refugees and other marginalized groups of people through sewing training and equipment, encouragement, and development of communication, social and business skills through meeting together to learn English language and sewing skills.
Sew For Hope is a nonprofit located in Nashville, TN who currently serves refugee women from the Nashville, TN area with training and equipment for developing marketable skills for employment or entrepreurship. Our classes meet Monday through Friday with a morning class from 9-11:45 and afternoon class from 12:15 to 3. The classes are taught by a lead teacher and assisted by a volunteer and interpretor. Volunteers are welcome whether they know how to sew or not. We have many tasks that don't require any sewing skills.
