Mission Statement

To bring art and culture to the community by providing a space for artists to exhibit and sell artwork and a place for the community to experience and be inspired by artwork and the individuals who create it. To raise funds for the numerous community projects the Rotary Club supports.

Description

Since 1969 the Rotary Club of Studio City - Sherman Oaks has organized the bi-annual Art Show, a celebration of all forms of fine art and fine artisanal crafts. The Club's Art Show is an iconic neighborhood event. Artists and residents come back year after year and consider the show to be high quality and and well ran. The profits from artist fees and sponsorships provide the financial resources to assist community groups. The Braille Institute, Valley of Hope, Valley Interfaith Council (VIC), Hands for Hope, Pacoima Food Bank, and Activity, Recreation and Care (ARC) are only a few of the organizations that the Club supports on an annual basis. The club's goals are consistent with the Rotary International mission: promote service and provide financial support to the local community as well as to the wider world.
