If you are passionate about improving the lives of people in our community, this is a great opportunity for you! The Volunteer Services Council for TCID is seeking college students and your professionals with experience or desire to learn about any of the following areas: non profit management, grant writing, finance, nutrition, advising, organizational structure, medicine, marketing, fundraising or other areas which may help advance the mission of TCID. The mission of the Volunteer Services Council (VSC) of TCID is to Improve the quality of life for patients with Tuberculosis and Hansen's disease as well as the staff who serve them through the creation of diverse partnerships, promoting advocacy initiatives, and bridging community resources. Help us by assisting with in-house patient activities like: loteria, bingo, book club, movie nights and many other activities! These activities can be scheduled around YOUR schedule.

The Volunteer Services Councils patient closet needs a restock! Help us by hosting a clothing drive(s). TCID is an inpatient facility where patients can stay from six months to two years while completing treatment. Dr ives such as these provide patients with items to make their stay more comfortable.
