Mission Statement

The Sherwood Foundation is a Rhode Island-based nonprofit organization which seeks to nurture the local nonprofit community by providing program development assistance (grantwriting, fundraising, special event planning, etc.) to nonprofit groups lacking their own development staff.

Description

The Sherwood Foundation was incorporated in August 1999. The Foundation is governed by a seven (7) member board of directors. We offer a broad range of quality program development assistance to small nonprofits with shoestring budgets. Grant searches, grant application preparation, workshops and trainings, and the planning and execution of special fundraising events (e.g. charity road races) are among the services we provide.
