At Enhabit Health & Hospice , we believe hospice is not a place, but rather a philosophy of care. Our goal is to bring dignity and comfort home by offering compassionate care to patients and their families during the final stages of life.
Description
Enhabit Health & Hospice is looking for patient volunteers to provide companionship visits to patients during their final months and weeks of life. Volunteers provide non- medical services and respite time for caregivers and family members. As a hospice volunteer, you will be given choices as to how much and what type of things you do.
A few ways you can help as a hospice volunteer is by visiting with patients and their loved ones, running errands for patients and families, playing games, walking and caring for family pets, creating a photo or memory album or just spending time with the patient or their family.
We also, offer volunteer opportunities with administrative support in our office.

I work for this organization and see the empathy and compassion that is given to those under our care. The clinical team goes above and beyond on a daily basis. The current volunteers we have are amazing and also give of their time freely to bring compassionate care to others. Volunteering for hospice is truly a calling and such a blessing to our patients and their families.
