Description

Nahwa exists as a response to the urgent crisis in the Middle East resulting from displacement and suffering due to war and destabilization. Our campaigns focus on women, children, and families to provide medical and hygiene products, clothing, clean water, weather protection, and other essential items as well as skills training and education to women, children, and families living in camps and IDP locations in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

We envision a future in which women, children, and families, once displaced by war and turmoil, will emerge to lead healthy, well-adjusted and productive lives and contribute to the social, political, and economic well-being of the societies in which they live. We believe that one day, in the near future, peace and stability will be restored to the areas surrounding the KRG.
