Mission Statement

Since 1963, The College School has engaged children, ages three to fourteen, in joyful, meaningful and creative learning through an adventurous, theme-based, experiential curriculum. Our diverse community works in partnership, cultivating excellence in academics, character and collaboration, as we prepare our students for life-long learning, service and citizenship. We are part of a larger community of educators, dedicated to creating new and vital visions of learning and teaching.

Description

Although the journey at The College School ends in eighth grade, it is really just the beginning. Our graduates are compassionate leaders, effective communicators, and articulate agents of change. When they leave us they are poised and empowered to change the world - to make it a better place. It is precisely the experiences, the adventures, the challenges, and the reflection upon it all that empowers our students to be the people they are. Throughout their journey at The College School, they learn to be good thinkers. They learn to be good people.

One of our two annual fundraisers, every dollar raised during the Gala & Auction help to propel our children further into their learning experience. 100% of the proceeds go right back into our school, keeping us on the leading-edge of quality education that is as unique and diverse as each of the over 250 children who walk our halls each day.
