Become an Administrative Volunteer with Kindred Hospice. These volunteers provided organizational/clerical support including filing, answering phones, mailing and additional support at our office. Volunteers can help make weekly "tuck in" calls to home patients and caregivers for weekend needs. To become a volunteer, volunteers receive training appropriate to their position. We operate Monday to Friday 8am-5pm. There is no set schedule, it is what best fits volunteer schedule. If you enjoy baking, card making, knitting exc. Please reach out as we love to give our patients and their families special treats! This is another way you can volunteer in our administrative role. Kindred Hospice is seeking veterans to visit hospice patients who are veterans. Visit a veteran weekly or twice a month to share stories and bring comfort and support. In addition, Kindred hospice volunteers who are veterans are invited to participate in the annual Veterans' Day recognition of our patients who have served in the military, as well as special pinning ceremonies for new patients throughout the year. Make a difference- visit a veteran! Volunteer orientation sessions are offered when it is convenient for you. Call 740-263-2248 or email for more information.
