Site Coordinator

Meet with key VA leaders, community leaders and other like-minded nonprofit leaders. Promote the site and build relationships within the Dallas area by serving a Site Coordinator for Soldiers’ Angels. Work with local donors, including individuals and businesses to facilitate relationships. Develop local partnership opportunities and attend working groups, chamber events, and other key events focused on collaboration and networking in the assigned community. Oversee VA and Community Representatives; the recruitment, training and retention of volunteers and growth of site; as well as, all special events and coordinating the distribution of goods and services. Coordination of the volunteer resources of Soldiers’ Angels and all aspects of their participation in the assigned community and at the VA. Request and manage inventory for veteran patients within the VA and the community. Track national campaigns (donations Girl Scout Cookies etc.), to include picture requirement.

Soldiers' Angels Baby Brigade program supports virtual baby showers for deployed service members and post-9/11 wounded, ill or injured service members and veterans their families who are expecting a new baby. Volunteers will shower the expecting spouses with homemade items or store bought gifts off their registry. Our "virtual baby showers" are so much fun to be a part of! We are looking for Team Angels (volunteers) who love to knit, crochet, sew and shop for all things baby! Our service men and women need our support and encouragement, and this is just one more way to do that.
