Mission Statement

F.R.I.E.N.D.S. MISSION • To provide vital special needs information, education, and resources, to expectant and new families. • Offer essential support, understanding, and advice to those with Down syndrome and/or other disabilities. • To provide fun activities in a safe and accepting atmosphere where our families and individuals can connect with each other.

Description

A volunteer-based, non-profit 501C3, founded in 2007 by families impacted by Down Syndrome and other special needs. We are committed to offering support, resources, and acceptance to all individuals with special needs and their families. We provide year-round programs, public education, community activities, and volunteer opportunities for those who want to help our special needs community.

It was an amazing experience being able to assist with the buddy walk . Sylvia was a great leader that today and was great at showing us what to do and telling everyone where they needed to be .
