Mission Statement

The arts benefit everyone. Not only the individual, but the entire community - even those who do not participate directly. The former idea of perceiving arts and culture as simply entertainment is being replaced by the idea that the ripple effects of the arts have a direct impact on everyone. Twin Rivers is a nonprofit organization that advocates for the arts, connects people to arts and culture and creates partnerships between the business, cultural, and academic communities - all to ensure that arts and culture thrive in Greater Mankato.

Description

Twin Rivers Council for the Arts raises the profile of arts in the Greater Mankato area by acting as a united, collaborative voice. As an arts and culture tourism hub, Twin Rivers provides innovative programming and professional development opportunities, and connects people to the arts through advocacy, education and community development.
