The mission of (LCF) is to expose the shadows of Multiple Myeloma and educate families and communities on the threats of other cancer.
Description
Lasco Cancer Fund is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, that originated from the founder, Robert Lasco, a Multiple Myeloma survivor.
Lasco Cancer Fund's vision is to bring awareness through education, about the cancer known as Multiple Myeloma. Lasco Cancer Fund has three programs (known as the First, Second, and Third Light Programs). The First Light Program brings educates to the public about Mutiple Myeloma. The Second Light Program provides support and resources for Multiple Myeloma patients and their caregivers. The Third Light Program facilitates discussion between medical professionals including, but not limited to, general practitioners, chiropractors, and oncologists/hematologists, on ways to provide diagnosis, treatment, and further research.
