El Puente de Celina, serving as a non-profit organization is dedicated to bridging the diverse cultures within our community through education, celebration and community development.

Description

El Puente de Celina and the City of Celina have come together this year to bring you our 8th annual Cinco de Mayo festival. Cinco de Mayo-or the fifth of May-commemorates the Mexican army's 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War (1861-1867). The festival includes authentic Mexican food/dances, games, contests, parade, raffle and shopping. This a day full of fun for the whole family. Cinco de Mayo is our main fundraiser and all net proceeds go towards college scholarships.
