Mission Statement
Interfaith Neighbors (IFN) is a non-profit, non-religious, community-based organization devoted solely to meeting the educational and developmental needs of children and young adolescents throughout East Harlem and Yorkville in New York City.
Description
IFN works to encourage all kids to: stay in school; understand and confront complex social challenges; minimize high-risk behavior and maximize learning, social competence, and healthy development. Our many free services, available year round, provide opportunities for every youngster to thrive intellectually and develop skills and interests in literacy, science, and the arts. With a comprehensive focus on young people's needs, IFN provides counseling, education, and recreation services to hundreds of children and their families each year.
