Description

The Dallas County Family Resource Center (DCFRC) was created in 2012 to serve as a central location to assess, assist and connect low income families and individuals in need, residing in Dallas County with existing resources. Since then, the DCFRC has grown to provide the Selma/Dallas County community with multiple programs and have become a United Way Partner Agency.

Our primary goal is to provide our community with a "one-stop" resource center that assesses the needs of low income families and individuals and connects them to the appropriate resources. The DCFRC also seeks to provide strengths-based case management and create programs where there are gaps in existing services, identify and alleviate barriers, and empower families to better cope with and overcome obstacles that prevent them from having financial independence. Our staff also works in a collaborative effort to create individualized treatment plans and work to educate and empower our clients.
