NAMI Gainesville provides education, support for people living with a mental illness and their families. We also advocate for more and better mental health services.

Description

NAMI Gainesville is an affiliate of National Alliance on Mental Illness, the largest grassroots mental health health organization. We teach a ten week class for peers, dealing with a mental illness, a 12 week week course for family members, a 50 minute class for high school and middle school students about signs of meneal illness and suicide prevention. We provide resource materials at various community events.
