Description
The Northwest Florida Area Agency on Aging, Inc., is a private, not-for-profit charitable corporation serving elders in a four county area (Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton). The NWFLAAA is responsible for planning, coordination and oversight of the delivery of the following programs: Home and Community Based Services, Community Care for the Elderly, Home Care for the Elderly, Alzheimer's Disease Initiative, Older Americans Act, Emergency Home Energy Assistance for the Elderly and SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders).

SHINE is currently recruiting volunteers for all four counties, with a primary focus on Okaloosa and Walton Counties.
