Ruin Creek Animal Protection Society of Henderson, NC (RCAPS) is a group that helps animals in need find rescue placement, we do not handle any adoptions. WE ARE NOT THE SHELTER. We do NOT have a facility.

Description

Almost all animals posted are from and housed at the a Shelter in Vance County or Surrounding Areas. The breed labeling of the animals are done by the shelter employees, not RCAPS volunteers. Pits and pit mixes are only allowed to be rescued by approved 501c3 rescues ONLY; per Vance County shelter rules and guidelines. We are working on cheaper spay/neuter options and much more.
